Groundwater samples were collected from a country club with moderate MTBE contamination. These samples were characterized to determine initial MTBE contamination levels prior to using in two laboratory tests:

  • Test 1: No treatment (control column)
  • Test 2: Alkaline persulfate and VeruSOL™

Each test contained the same amount of groundwater. Each test also contained approximately the same amount of contaminants initially; the table and graph below demonstrate the effectiveness of S-ISCO™ in destroying MTBE contamination after just 3 days:

contamination in just 3 days.
