VeruSOLVE Marine 200 HP, has fulfilled the EPA’s submission requirements found in Title 40 of the CFR section 300.915 of the National Oil and Hazardous Substance Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP) and is now listed as a Surface Washing Agent on the NCP Product Schedule. VeruSOLVE ™ Marine 200 HP is posted on the Environmental Protection Agency's website www.epa.gov in the Product Schedule and the Technical Notebook.

The NCP was established to allow swift and organized response to oil spill disasters.  This listing allows the NCP Federal On-Scene Coordinators to use VeruSOLVE Marine 200 HP to protect the shoreline by cleaning oil coated beaches, marshes and shoreline structures in response to oil and hazardous substance spills. VeruSOLVE Marine 200 HP is both safe for workers to handle and safe to the delicate shoreline environment.

VeruSOLVE™ Marine 200 HP, works via a patented process called Surfactant-Enhanced Chemical Oxidation (S-ISCO) which uses non toxic biodegradable surfactant paired with the destructive power of hydrogen peroxide to break apart and destroy oil in place while enhancing natural biodegradation processes.  This combined approach is a safe and fast;  non-toxic biodegradable surfactants help to stimulate natural biological, photochemical processes while hydrogen peroxide begins oxidizing and destroying oil in place within minutes of application. 

VeruSOLVE Marine 200 HP is ideal for cleaning rocks, sand, soil, building materials, ships and any area near water that has been impacted by spilled oil.  This safe, effective formula may be easily applied using standard equipment.

Recently released aquatic toxicology testing documented the product’s very low toxicity levels, for marine life, making VeruSOLVE™ Marine 200 HP solution one of the safest products currently available.
