"VeruTEK®Technologies, Inc. implemented a large‐scale green remediation pilot test. The test focused on treatment of subsurface coal tar at a former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) with VeruTEK's CoelutionTechnology™, surfactant‐enhanced in‐situ chemical oxidation (S‐ISCOTM). Prior to implementation of S‐ISCO™, four separated ISCO pilot tests were performed at the Site. All previous pilot tests resulted in failure. The results from VeruTEK'sPilot Test exceeded expectations. Greater than 4 times the testdesigned soil contamination was destroyed and the test achieved a sustainable reduction in groundwater contamination. A third party consultant concluded that S‐ISCO™ destroyed soil, groundwater, and soil gas contamination at the site in a safe and controlled manner and demonstrated that complete or near‐complete treatment of MGP contaminated soils can be achieved."

"A client had an issue with free-product located beneath an active manufacturing facility on the surface of a groundwater table located within weathered bedrock. Removal of the free-product was deemed necessary because it served as a source of groundwater contamination and complicated dewatering of a basement area at the facility.
